The Science Behind For All Mankind

We were tasked with creating four videos that explained the underlying science and physics behind the various episodes of the Apple+ show For All Mankind. This was an ambitious project and the main challenge was simplifying complex scientific topics like zero gravity, light in space, and pressure on Mars. We settled on taking a “cosmos like” approach integrating live-action with various scientific concepts illustrated with creative CG animations. With this project I was really involved at the ground level and it was really fun to be able to experiment and suggest examples to serve as analogies for the scientific concepts.
